SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A man was found dead Wednesday inside a vehicle in National City, authorities said. The discovery occurred around 7:57 a.m. at the Sweetwater Road Park and Ride, Officer Stephany Perez with the California Highway Patrol said in a news release Thursday. When first responders arrived on scene, they found the man inside the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Two North County city managers leave office; one to lead Port of San Diego Authorities are investigating if alcohol and/or drugs were a factor in his death. The name of the man is not being released at this time pending notification of the next of kin.
