Update: Be prepared for heavy snow in Tompkins County Friday afternoon

The National Weather Service issued an updated report at noon on Friday for heavy snow until 1 p.m. for Tompkins County."At 11:59 a.m., an area of heavy snow was located along a line extending from Slaterville Springs to Rush. Movement was southwest at 10 mph," according to the weather service.
