HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - A man was arrested in Holyoke in connection with an armed robbery. Holyoke police arrest attempted murder suspect On Thursday, the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section assisted Holyoke police in arresting 34-year-old Joseph Albelo. He was taken into custody on a warrant and faces armed robbery charges. No additional information was released in the case however, Albelo was sentenced in 2016 to three years in prison for stabbing a police dog in connection with an armed robbery in Holyoke.
