SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The first-ever taste at Tower Square kicked off on Thursday night. Foster grandparent volunteers honored for dedication to children People gathered to sample wines, bourbon, and craft beer to support the Springfield UNICO Fund. All proceeds raised will help create scholarships for local high school athletes. "We went to the groups from all the different groups in the Tower and downtown and we asked them if they'd be willing to purchase tickets to come to the event and support the Springfield UNICO Scholarship fund," said Carlo Bonavita, the founder of the Springfield Wine Exchange.
