Baby, 2 others injured after shooting leads to crash in Whitehaven

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Two adults and a baby were injured in a shooting that ended in a crash in Whitehaven on Friday morning, Memphis Police say.
According to reports, just after 3 a.m., police responded to a shooting and crash at Winchester Road and Winbrook Road where they found an overturned vehicle in a grassy field.

A 23-year-old woman was taken to Regional One in critical condition, a 27-year-old man was taken to Methodist University in non-critical condition, and a 1-year-old baby was taken to Le Bonheur in non-critical condition.
Police say preliminary information shows that the woman was involved in a verbal altercation at a different location before they were shot at and involved in the crash.
