HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. – A deadly crash near Fishers closed I-69 northbound.
According to Indiana State Police, all lanes were shut down near mile marker 208 between Indiana 37 and Old Indiana 238 (exits 205 to 210). This is just south of Fishers High School.
ISP didn’t initially give specifics about the circumstances surrounding the crash. They later said the incident involved a pedestrian and a semi truck. The crash was first reported around 4:40 a.m., according to the Indiana Department of Transportation.
Traffic was being diverted onto exit 205. State police told drivers to expect long delays and advised them to avoid the area if possible.
