"Obviously, we're coming in with a sense of confidence," starting guard Kody Williams said. "We won the Rainbow Classic, we're coming in with some swagger. And I think the jerseys obviously help a little bit with that. But, you know, North Carolina's obviously always been a historic program and just being able to play them and being ranked 10th in the country adds a little bit more motivation.
"Now we're gonna try and go out there and make it a dogfight and it's going to be awesome. It's going to be one heck of an experience, something I've never experienced before, a packed house playing against a ranked opponent with pro guards, pro players. It's going to it's going to be a good test to see where we are for sure."
Added head coach Eran Ganot: "I'm just really excited, all encompassing for so many reasons. It's great for our program, it's incredible for our university and our athletic department, the state. I think this is maybe our 45th national television game in nine and a half years. That's impressive . ... And you have to earn it with it, whether it's in your league conference tournament, NCAA tournament and marquee games like this.
"So, it's going to be a heck of a challenge. This is the blue blood, obviously. Maybe the bluest of the blue bloods in a lot of ways. And so a heck of a challenge. And that's what it's all about."
