North of the Thruway, the air will not support anything more than random wet flakes mixing in with predominantly cold rain. This includes Rochester. In these areas, most of you will pick up over an inch of much needed rainfall. South of I-90 at elevation, particularly Wyoming and southern Ontario/Yates counties, several inches of wet, clingy snow will accumulate. I wouldn't be shocked to see a few random spots cashing in on more than half a foot of snow. Through the entire month of November thus far, Rochester has picked up 0.81" of rain. The HRRR suggests we'll double that figure in the next 24 hours alone.
