ROCHESTER, N.Y. – It's a dream many of us probably wish we could live out – taking a childhood hobby and turning it into a full-blown business. That's the case for local entrepreneur Jacob Cornfield. He's the mind behind 'Game Night Rochester' which is a company whose main goal is to bring community members together for an evening of friendly competition. The business began in 2021 as a one-man crew. Cornfield would host occasional events at Radio Social where he worked as a chef. Since then, 'Game Night Rochester' expanded, becoming Cornfield's full-time gig with the addition of six other hosts who oversee events at various locations across the city. Cornfield is what you might call a board game connoisseur with a collection of over one thousand games. He says there is no doubt he can find the perfect one for you.
