Winter weather advisory issued for Central NY until early Friday evening – up to 7 inches of snow

A winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 1:09 p.m. valid from 4 p.m. until Friday 4 p.m. for Cayuga, Onondaga and Oneida counties.The weather service states, "Total snow accumulations between 4 and 7 inches in elevations above 1500 ft, and 1 to 3 inches in valley locations."
