NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) - A Connecticut man died after the vehicle he was driving on I-91 left the roadway and crashed below the highway on Island Pond Road in Northampton. Massachusetts State Police Sergeant Gregory Jones told 22News that assistance was requested at around midnight for a report of a deadly crash involving a Toyota 4Runner that left the roadway on I-91 and crashed onto Island Road.  Person struck and killed by train in Deerfield The Northwestern District Attorney's Office identified the driver as an 82-year-old Connecticut man. They were the only person in the vehicle.
