Deer Valley will open early for the 2024-2025 ski season and welcome season pass holders on Friday, Nov. 29, and all guests on Nov. 30. From 12 to 4 p.m. on Nov. 29, lifts will run exclusively for Deer Valley pass holders, with registration, Snow Park Ski Corral and Basket Check services available at Snow Park Lodge from 11 a.m. Pass holders will also receive a complimentary lunch voucher, redeemable at Snow Park Restaurant between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. or Silver Lake Lodge between noon and 3:30 p.m. Members of Deer Valley’s leadership team will be on-site in the 2002 Room in Snow Park Lodge from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. to share updates on the Expanded Excellence initiative, including plans for additional terrain and enhanced amenities. Optimal snowmaking conditions have created ideal early-season ski conditions, the resort said. Skiers will have access to five runs served by four chairlifts across Bald Eagle and Bald Mountain, with additional terrain expected to open as conditions permit. This early opening marks the first time in Deer Valley history that the resort will be open Thanksgiving weekend. “This season’s early opening is a celebration of exceptional early-season ski conditions and the hard work of our teams. We’re looking forward to welcoming our guests back to our slopes and experience the beginning of Deer Valley’s Expanded Excellence initiative” said Todd Bennett, president and COO of Deer Valley. “This season is just the beginning of what’s to come, as we enhance our mountain experience while preserving excellent service and attention to detail our guests expect.” The post Deer Valley to open early on Thanksgiving weekend appeared first on Park Record.
