NORTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The Norton Fire Department said it has purchased two ne ultrasound devices and have trained for their use. The department said the devices will be used to find internal bleeding in those who have suffered serious injuries as well as to find veins in those who need IVs. The devices also use artificial intelligence to identify organs that are being scanned. The department added that Ribeiro Enterprises donated funds for training on how to use the devices.
