Former Philadelphia Eagles running back Wendell Smallwood Jr. is facing charges for allegedly committing fraud through two COVID-19 relief programs to obtain tens of thousands of dollars in loans. He also allegedly ran a kickback scheme with several others to falsify loan applications and tax documents during the pandemic, federal prosecutors in Delaware said Thursday.
