NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The cool fall air will be sticking around for the next couple of days making for some nice weather through the weekend. Expect another chilly morning Friday with temperatures similar to what we saw Thursday morning. Look for upper 30s to around 40 north with low to mid 40s south and around 50 near the lake and marine areas. Friday will be sunny and cool with low to mid 60s. We will see those numbers drop quickly after sunset so football games will be on the cooler side. Saturday morning looks even cooler with mid 30s north and 40s south. Some spots could even see the first frost of the season on Saturday morning before we warm back into the mid to upper 60s Saturday afternoon. We add on about 10 degrees for the mid to upper 70s Sunday as warmer and more humid air moves back in for the early part of next week.
