City Officials Gearing Up for Snow Operations This Winter

Mayor Gaylor Baird told Lincoln’s Morning News on KFOR on Wednesday that you can monitor snow removal operations by going to the city’s website. Gaylor Baird says part of the preparation includes procuring and storing big piles of salt, to developing brine to apply on city streets ahead of winter storms.
The mayor says they are also contracting with people that have snow plows that can help in quickly plowing streets after a major snowfall.
