BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Bakersfield police are investigating Thursday after a shooting at Belle Terrace Park that left a person dead. BPD investigators responded to 1101 E. Belle Terrace, for a welfare check, around 7:30 a.m. Man found guilty of assaulting Town and Country shopping center security guard At the scene, officials found a male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. Detectives have ruled the mans death a homicide. No suspect description has been released.
