Bakersfield police ask for help to identify Pine St car burglary suspect

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Police are asking for help to identify a person suspected of breaking into a vehicle in central Bakersfield and taking several items, according to the department.
BPD investigators say the suspect broke into a vehicle near the intersection of Pine St. and Truxtun Ave. on Oct. 3. Once inside the vehicle, the suspect stole some items.

Officials released photos and description of the suspect Thursday.
He is described as a man between 25 and 40 years-old, who stands 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs around 200 pounds. He has a black beard, mustache/goatee.
Surveillance photos from the scene shows the suspect wearing a light gray beanie, light gray long sleeve sweatshirt, dark gray basketball shorts and red athletic shoes.
