Police release surveillance video of people of interest in deadly DC shooting

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- Detectives are asking for the community's help identifying people of interest in connection to a deadly shooting that happened in Northeast D.C.
On Friday, Nov. 1, officers with the Metropolitan Police Department responded to a shooting in the 100 block of 44th St. NE. That's where they found 28-year-old Dwaun Simpson, of Southeast, with a gunshot wound.
Simpson died at the scene.

As the investigation continued, detectives reviewed surveillance video of a group of people walking in the parking lot of a BP gas station, in the area of the shooting.
