PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- The Prince George's County Police Department (PGPD) said Thursday that the man who was wanted for the murder of 27-year-old Jessica Somerville was arrested. Police said 23-year-old Raheen Hawkins-Boseman, of Silver Spring, was taken into custody in North Carolina. This arrest comes after investigators searched for Hawkins-Boseman for more than seven months. Maryland’s months-long drought impacts Christmas tree farms Hawkins-Boseman was wanted for murder in connection to a shooting that happened on March 17 in the 5800 block of Silver Hill Road in District Heights. That's where police found Somerville suffering from a gunshot wound in a parking lot. She died at the scene. Just days later police released surveillance video that showed two men who were believed to be involved in the shooting. As the investigation developed, Hawkins-Boseman was identified as one of the suspects. Prince George's County police issued an arrest warrant charging him with first-degree murder and related charges. Details surrounding Hawkins-Boseman's arrest remain limited as of Thursday morning.
