Police arrest man in connection to drug overdose death of Manhattan local

MANHATTAN (KSNT) - Police in Manhattan have arrested an Ellsworth man Wednesday in connection to a drug-related death.
The Riley County Police Department (RCPD) announced on Nov. 21 in a press release that it arrested Caziah Self, 23, around noon on Nov. 20 in the 1000 block of South Seth Child Road. The man was charged with distribution of a controlled substance causing death, use of a communication facility in the commission of a felony drug violation and distribution of opiate/opium/stimulant/heroin dosage < 10 units.
Police arrested Self in connection to an incident in June 2023 where law enforcement investigated the death of a 25-year-old Manhattan individual. The death was allegedly caused by an overdose.
