NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) - A driver was killed after their vehicle crashed on Island Road in Northampton overnight Thursday. Massachusetts State Police Sergeant Gregory Jones told 22News that assistance was requested at around midnight for a report of a deadly crash involving a Toyota 4Runner that left the roadway on Interstate 91 and crashed onto Island Road.  Person struck and killed by train in Deerfield The driver was the only person in the vehicle and their identity has not yet been released.
