Leilani Simon to be sentenced for killing toddler son Quinton

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Leilani Simon, found guilty last month on all counts in the 2022 murder of her toddler son Quinton, is set to be sentenced Thursday afternoon.
Simon is expected in court at 1:30 p.m. WSAV will stream her appearance live on this page.
After hearing from over 30 witnesses, a Chatham County jury convicted Leilani Simon of malice murder, two counts of felony murder, concealing the death of another, false report of a crime and 14 counts of making a false statement.

She faces life in prison.
Leilani Simon reported 20-month-old Quinton missing on Oct. 5, 2022. Prosecutors said she killed him, then threw his body in a dumpster.
His remains were found weeks later in a Chatham County landfill.
