Reports say the victim told police that he and another woman were sitting in her car when his ex-girlfriend, Tamecia Smith, approached them while armed with a knife and a tire iron. He said Smith threatened to kill both of them, saying "Y'all gonna stop playing with me. I'm gonna kill y'all."

Smith allegedly tried to hit the woman's vehicle with the tire iron and cut her ex-boyfriend on the wrist.
The woman drove off while the man intervened, but reports say Smith jumped in her car and followed the woman until she lost her.
Smith then went back to the area of the apartment complex where her ex-boyfriend was left standing and tried to run him over with her car, police say. A witness on the scene confirmed the incident.
Smith was taken into custody on Wednesday. She is being held on a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to be back in court on Friday morning.
