HONOLULU (KHON2) -- The Honolulu Fire Department battled a wildland fire Wednesday afternoon that was seen moving quickly along the Leeward side of Oahu. HFD deployed 17 HFD companies, air assets, and support from Fed Fire and State Crash. The fire was 90% contained just after 6 p.m. Crews continue putting out hotspots.
