MORRISVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — A woman is being charged after a man died in Morrisville early Wednesday morning. Around 2 a.m., police officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 900 block of Athletic Lane. Once at the scene, officers found a male victim who was not breathing and initiated life-saving measures. He was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. According to investigators, the victim was stabbed in the chest. The victim was identified as 32-year-old Zachary Obrian Epps. A preliminary investigation indicates that the suspect, 22-year-old Destinee Unique Bauguess, and Epps were in a relationship and in town visiting friends when the incident occurred, according to Morrisville police. Bauguess is being charged with murder in this incident, according to warrants. This investigation is ongoing and there is no threat to the public, police said.
