Five men arrested following undercover human trafficking investigation in Oshkosh

OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) - Authorities say five men were arrested on Wednesday as a result of an undercover human trafficking investigation.
According to a release from the Oshkosh Police Department, the department's Vice and Narcotics Unit, along with other detectives and patrol officers conducted the undercover investigation leading to the arrest of five men on the south side of Oshkosh.

The five men arrested ranged in age from 23 to 43 years of age and were from Oshkosh, Fond du Lac, and Appleton.
Officers say that the department remains "steadfast" in its commitment to combat human trafficking and other similar crimes.
Officers state that there are a variety of reasons why it can be hard for victims of human trafficking to get out of their situations so the department partners with local non-profits to help resources quickly get provided to victims.
