One person taken to hospital after shooting in Baton Rouge, officials say

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) -- One person was transported to the hospital in stable condition after a shooting in the 3400 block of N. Sherwood Forest Drive, according to Baton Rouge Emergency Medical Services.
EMS said they responded to the scene at 1 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21.
Police tape was observed along with BRPD units. Officers were also seen in front of a building.
There is no word on whether there is a suspect or motive in connection with this shooting. BRProud has contacted police and more information will be shared as it becomes available.
