A 26-year-old man was slashed in the face during an argument with three women and a man at Midtown Manhattan’s 42nd St.-Port Authority subway station — the first of several bloody blade attacks in Manhattan this week, police said Thursday. Cops have released an image of one of the women involved in the Sunday morning attack in the hopes someone identifies her. The victim was on a Brooklyn-bound platform at the West Side subway station about 3:40 a.m. when he got into a heated argument with the quartet. As the five continued to argue, one of the women pulled a blade and attacked the victim, cops said. The foursome then ran off. No arrests have been made. EMS rushed the victim to Bellevue Hospital where he was treated for a minor wound. Sunday’s slashing came during a particularly bloody week in Manhattan, which included a horrific attack on Monday where three people were stabbed to death in a string of unprovoked knife attacks, which spanned from Chelsea and Kips Bay to near the United Nations. Ramon Rivera, 51, a homeless man suffering from mental illness with an extensive criminal record, has been charged with murder in each of those three attacks. Then, on Wednesday, a 55-year-old tourist from Denmark was slashed in an unprovoked attack on the Upper West Side, police said. Cops arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with the slashing early Thursday. Also on Wednesday, a man was stabbed after a brawl on a Manhattan street just blocks from Madison Square Garden. The victim got into a fight at W. 34th St. and Eighth Ave. around 4:32 p.m. with a man dressed all in black, cops said. The stabber slashed the victim in his right forearm, lower back and right leg, and fled north on Eighth Ave., cops said. Police are asking anyone with information about Sunday’s attack to contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept kept confidential.
