DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) With snow falling in some areas, and temps below freezing, some roads in northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio have become slick and hazardous. Bridges and overpasses are particularly dangerous. That proved true in DeKalb County where the DeKalb County Sheriff's Department investigated a two vehicle crash just before 5:15 a.m. According to a news release, a pickup driver lost control on a bridge on I-69 near Auburn due to the slick road. The pickup spun and then flipped, coming to rest on its top. An SUV traveling behind the pickup hit it. WANE 15 Weather Forecast Both drivers were hurt and were taken to a hospital. The southbound lanes of the interstate were closed near the 328 mile marker, but one lane has since reopened. There have been numerous reports of slick conditions elsewhere in the area, including I-469 in Fort Wayne. Police urge motorists to slow down and allow plenty of room between their car the the vehicle in front of them.
