WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is investigating after a man was critically hurt in a shooting in Southeast D.C. on Wednesday evening.
Police said they responded to the shooting in the 5500 block of B Street SE at around 7:30 p.m. There, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was taken to a hospital while unconscious and not breathing. He remains in critical condition.
