Holyoke police arrest two in heroin, fentanyl distribution investigation

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - Two individuals are facing drug charges following a collaborative investigation into heroin and fentanyl distribution in Holyoke.
On Wednesday, the Holyoke Police Department Narcotics Unit, working alongside the Chicopee Police Department and the Western Massachusetts FBI Gang Task Force, executed a search warrant at 170 Hampshire Street.

During the search, law enforcement uncovered a significant amount of heroin and fentanyl. As a result of the operation, Yashira Perez, 31, and Jarileemari Opio Bonilla, 23, were arrested and charged with the following offenses:
• Possession of a Class A Drug
• Possession with Intent to Distribute
Holyoke Police expressed their gratitude to the Chicopee Police Department and the Western Massachusetts FBI Gang Task Force for their assistance in this investigation.
