ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The City of Albuquerque cut the ribbon on Wednesday for a new behavioral health center aimed at supporting the homeless. The new Hopeworks facility, called the William Miller Behavioral Health Center, is located on 4th Street next to Hope Village. It'll be staffed with nurse practitioners, nurses, case managers, and licensed therapists. "This is not just about creating a building. It's about creating a space that individuals feel safe, respected, and supported. Designed philosophy that aligns perfectly with our care-first approach at Hopeworks," said Dan Pennington with Hopeworks. The $2 million project is funded by the city and the Bezos Family Foundation.
