PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Police are investigating after a man was shot several times in the capital city Wednesday evening. Providence Police Maj. David Lapatin confirms that the shooting happened near the Chad Brown housing complex. Lapatin said the victim was brought to Rhode Island Hospital and is recovering.
