NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A church in the 9th Ward of New Orleans will be giving away 1,000 turkeys on Monday, Nov. 25. Leaders at the Abundant Life Tabernacle Full Gospel Baptist Church, located at 1701 Franklin Ave., have announced their annual turkey giveaway, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Beautiful and magical mermaids swimming at Audubon Aquarium in New Orleans Those who would like to participate in the giveaway by walking up are asked to get in line in front of the building on the Franklin Avenue side. The drive-up line will go up N. Derbigny Street, and those participating by driving up will enter the line through the back gate. Turkeys will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis.
