INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis metro police thanked the public for its assistance in finding a 6-month-old baby that had been reported as missing from the city's north side Wednesday night. IMPD confirmed in a post on X that it was investigating the disappearance of a baby who had last been seen near the 8000 block of Egret Lane around 6:50 p.m. in a stolen 2014 black Chevy Equinox. The vehicle has also been recovered by police, according to IMPD. This is a developing story and more information will be added as it becomes available.
