DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Dorchester County deputies are asking for the public's help in finding a missing and endangered 17-year-old male. James Terrance Maxwell II is autistic, according to Rick Carson, a spokesperson for the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office. Maxwell is reportedly 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs about 150 pounds. Law enforcement said he was last seen at his home on Buckingham Avenue, Ashborough East, in Summerville, wearing a dark-colored hoodie around 7 p.m. If you see Maxwell or have any information on his whereabouts, contact the sheriff's office at (843) 873-5111.
