BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- On Thursday, several organizations are coming together for what's described as Bakersfield's first anti-hate forum. The forum is being hosted by Pride Year-Round, the NAACP, the Sikh Women's Association, and the Center for Gender and Sexual Diversity. Organizers say it will include panels including information on community resources, a conversation on safe reporting, testimonies from community members, and food trucks on site as well. The event is happening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Larry E. Reider Education Center on K Street. You can reserve a spot by going here.
