ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Our latest Primetime 585 Shining Star puts the spotlight on Ian Schneeberger, a senior at Eastridge High School. (Provided: Primetime 585) He’s been playing football since he was just 8-years-old for the Irondequoit Jr. Lancers, and played for Eastridge throughout his high school career. During Ian’s time on varsity, he’s been a starter for three years and spent two as a team captain. Outside of football, Ian also plays lacrosse for East United, which he’s been a member of since freshman year. Additionally, he joined Eastridge High School’s Link Crew - a peer mentoring/freshman transition program - joined Masterminds and participated in student government. All the while, he’s managed to maintain a 3.6 GPA. Just this past weekend, Ian helped his team win a sectional championship, after going 0-8 last season. Impressive for sure!
