RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Kabana Rooftop has announced that, after eight years of being a community staple, it will close its doors at the beginning of the year. According to a post shared on Instagram from Kabana Rooftop, the lounge will close its doors on New Year's Day of 2025. The lounge expressed gratitude to the community for its support and many memories dating back to the very beginning. "Since opening in 2016, we’ve been fortunate to share countless memories and unforgettable views with our amazing community," the social post reads. "We invite you to join us for one final toast, 20 stories above the RVA skyline and river." Kabana Rooftop will host its last celebration, The Final Countdown - The Black Tie Affair on New Year's Eve.
