Festival of Lights to bring holiday cheer to Powhatan

POWHATAN COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Festival of Lights and Holiday Village will arrive in Powhatan County on Friday, promising thousands of beautiful lights and plenty of holiday fun.
Starting Friday, Nov. 22, the Powhatan Fairgrounds -- located at 4042 Anderson Highway -- will host a 21-night run of the Festival of Lights and Holiday Village. Those interested in visiting can enjoy the displays from 4:30 to 11 p.m. every Friday through Sunday until Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025.
The event, presented by Christmas Decor, includes thousands of holiday lights, lifesize Christmas displays, photo-ops, a "Christmas Village of Vendors," hot beverage stations and s'mores. Visitors can also ice skate for an additional fee.
‘Buy Fluvanna First’ campaign incentivizes buying local this holiday season
Tickets for the first two Fridays -- Nov. 22 and Nov. 29 -- are $10 a person. For all other days, tickets are $20 plus tax. Children 3 years old and under get in free.
