AUSTIN (KXAN) -- A pair of events are kicking off the holiday spirit with a focus on family friendly fun across Austin including, a visit from the jolly man in red and the not so jolly man in green! Who-liday Kickoff Event Tree Lighting Forecast Taking place at The Domain in North Austin this Saturday is the Who-liday Kickoff Event. This event will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. There will be plenty of fun things to do with the entire family including a meet and greet with the grumpiest man in green and his little dog too! There will also be a bracelet bar, face painters, balloon twisting, and plenty of music. At 5:45 p.m. the tree lighting ceremony will kick off, as the sun goes down the lights come on! Who-liday Kickoff details Peppermint Parkway Weekend Weather Forecast Taking over The Circuit of the Americas, Peppermint Parkway returns once again! Expect to see a drive through holiday display with a ton of light features and a meet and greet with Santa himself. You can take a picture and share your Christmas list with him.
