SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Three people have been left without a home after a fire in Springfield Wednesday morning.

The Springfield Fire Department was called to 53 Windsor Street for a report of smoke coming from the building. When crews arrived, they found a working fire on the first floor.

The fire has been put out and there were no reported injuries. One adult and two children have been left without a home and are being assisted by the Red Cross.
The Springfield Arson and Bomb Squad determined that the cause of the fire was accidental.
