SEWARD–(KFOR Nov. 19)–A court appearance in Seward set for Wednesday morning for an Oregon man suspected of having 340 pounds of marijuana after a traffic stop was done November 7 along eastbound Interstate 80 near Pleasant Dale. According to court documents, 47-year-old Jacob Bongers was pulled over for following too close and driving on the shoulder. When he was contacted, Bongers said he had personal use marijuana in his truck, according to court documents. A probable cause search of the truck found several cardboard boxes that had heat-sealed packages of marijuana. In total, there were 11 boxes that had 340 pounds of marijuana. Six grams of meth were also found on Bongers.
