New Mexico companies receive training funds from EDD

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Economic Development Department (EDD) has announced more businesses have been approved for Job Training Incentive Program (JTIP) funding. According to an EDD press release, the money will go towards hiring and training up to 94 employees and four interns.
Each month, the JTIP Board reviews and authorizes training reimbursement dollars to qualified businesses. A total of $1.6 million was approved with average wages ranging from $20 to $91 per hour.
The following businesses receiving funding for November are:
Flow Aluminum, Inc. (Albuquerque) – Two trainees at an average wage of $35
Gridworks, LLC (Albuquerque) – Four trainees at an average wage of $35 and four interns at an average of $25
KiloNewton, LLC (Albuquerque) – Four trainees at an average wage of $35 and four interns at an average of $25
Pajarito Powder LLC (Albuquerque) – Twenty-two trainees at an average wage of $35
Redwire Space, LLC (Albuquerque) – Five trainees at an average wage of $60
Spiritus Technologies PBC (White Rock) – Four trainees at an average wage of $91
Century Sign Builders (Albuquerque) – One trainee at a wage of $29
Golightly Company, LLC (Santa Fe) – Five trainees at an average wage of $30
EMPOCC, LLC dba Oasis Cannabis Company (Albuquerque) – 40 trainees at an average wage of $20
