ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – The Allen County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help to piece together the details of a fatal hit-and-run from September. On Sept. 22, a Fort Wayne man was hit and killed by two separate vehicles on Thimlar Road sometime before 1:45 a.m. in eastern Allen County. The victim was identified as 22-year-old Isaac Brown. Sgt. Adam Griffith said during the initial investigation that the first vehicle would likely have damage on the front passenger side, and the second vehicle may be a pickup truck. In an update Tuesday, Griffith said investigators recovered a vehicle part from the scene that is being examined to determine what type of vehicle might be involved.
