BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Salvation Army in Baton Rouge is seeking volunteers for the upcoming holiday season.
The Salvation Army's holiday programs depend on volunteers to help serve meals, hand out toys to children and ring bells for the Red Kettle Campaign, according to a news release.
"Volunteers are the Army behind the Army," said Cpt. Brian Hicks of The Salvation Army. "Without their support, we couldn't carry out our mission to serve our community during this critical time of the year."
The Salvation Army is inviting families, individuals and groups who want to join this important work by signing up to volunteer. Interested volunteers can click here to sign up or can email Hicks at [email protected].
