Littleton police officers shot a driver Tuesday morning after the driver allegedly got out of the car with a weapon during a traffic stop, police said.
Officers pulled over the unidentified driver around 3 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of West Belleview Avenue and Keenland Court, the police department said in a statement. Investigators didn’t say what the initial traffic stop was for.
The driver got out of the car with an unspecified weapon and pointed it at officers, causing multiple Littleton officers to fire at the suspect, investigators said.
