EAST WINDSOR — East Windsor Township wants to remind residents of the shuttle bus service connecting residents to the Princeton Junction Train Station. The service runs Monday through Friday, offering morning and evening routes for commuters from East Windsor and Hightstown. “This is a great opportunity for East Windsor and Hightstown residents who commute to work by train, since parking is limited at the Princeton Junction Train Station,” said Mayor Janice S. Mironov. “The Township highly encourages residents to take advantage of this shuttle option, which helps residents save on gas and the cost of daily commutes to work.” The shuttle stops include Old Cranbury Road, North Main Street, Dutch Neck Road, Route 571, One Mile Road, Old Trenton Road, and more. Riders pay one dollar for a one-way trip, with a 20 percent discount available when purchasing 40 tickets for $32. Tickets can be bought from the Township or purchased directly from the shuttle operator. Buses are marked with “East Windsor Township Princeton Junction Shuttle” signs. Shuttle schedules and route information are available at East Windsor and Hightstown municipal buildings, the Princeton Junction Train Station, and online at www.east-windsor.nj.us. For more information, residents can call the Township at (609) 443-4000, ext. 425.
