Semi crash closes part of 465 on Indy's northeast side

INDIANAPOLIS – A crash involving a semi truck closed part of I-465 on the northeast side of Indianapolis.
According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, all lanes of 465 eastbound were closed.
It was reported around 5:10 a.m. near the I-69 interchange and Binford Boulevard. It appeared a semi went through a concrete barrier near mile marker 37.
Indiana State Police were responding to the scene
"I-465 eastbound at the 37 mile marker has a long backup due to the crash," the agency said on social media. "Use caution in the area. ISP and first responders are on scene
State police said the incident involved a semi truck and three passenger vehicles. At this time, no one has been taken to the hospital. ISP said the interstate will be closed for "a while" and couldn't provide a time frame for when the scene would be cleared.
Traffic was being diverted to I-69, police said. The I-465 northbound express lane remained closed, and drivers should expect lengthy delays.
